Bizarre cause of death for man found blown-up in Pa. field

Pa. officials blame some cloudy morning weather for keeping them from seeing all the evidence that would have clinched the case of a dead man found blown-up in an empty field. Only when the sun came out in the afternoon did what really happened become more clear.( At first, police in Lackawanna County didn't know what they had on their hands when the dead body of a man turned up Wednesday in an empty lot near Moosic, Pa.

State police vehicles and the Lackawanna County coroner van responded on this lot that used to be home to McKinney Manufacturing on Davis Street in Moosic, near the Scranton city line.
